Aria, Ahmedabad

The design is conceived without rigid boundaries, fixed shapes, or defined edges—its form meanders like flowing water between built structures, shaping spaces organically as it moves. Vertical, slender concrete slices act as permeable screens, allowing views and movement to pass freely, dissolving the sense of enclosure. read more

The spatial journey unfolds as a series of moods: swings set along delicate screens create a playful corner for children, leading into a central plaza where seating overlooks a generous lawn. Trees punctuate the plaza, offering shade and focal points, while soft planted edges along the building infuse colour, texture, and seasonal fragrance.

Tucked-away niches reveal zones for fitness, allowing residents to exercise while remaining visually connected to their toddlers at play. The design has no formal beginning or end, its continuous loop recalling a Möbius strip—an infinite ribbon of experience. In its essence, the landscape embodies the idea of Aria: an expressive, fluid melody, composed not in notes but in movement, light, and the gentle transitions between spaces.
